About Kay
I’m a business lawyer with close to three decades of experience, most of it inside global technology companies.
I have led legal teams at Hewlett Packard Enterprise, VMware, Cloudera and AVEVA-Schneider Electric, across the US, Europe and Asia. I negotiated the deals, ran the compliance, and supported the growth from the inside. I know what it takes to scale a business because I’ve done it alongside the people running one.
Now I bring that to CEOs and CFOs who need senior legal judgment without a full-time hire. I focus on the commercial deals, partnerships and cross-border growth that carry the most value and risk.
My approach is practical and commercial. I understand the business first, then the law. Clients work with me because I’m clear, direct, and I’ve sat where they sit.

- Vice President, APAC Legal, Aveva Software-Schneider Electric - Led all APAC industrial software deals and contract management
- Global Compliance Officer, VMware Inc. - Oversaw global compliance and investigations program
- APAC Head of Legal, Cloudera Inc. – Supported IPO on the NYSE and APAC expansion
- APAC Head of Legal, Hewlett-Packard Enterprise – Supported a US$7 billion hardware and software business

I’ve negotiated master agreements with Singtel, Optus, Vodafone, Reliance and NTT, built distributor and partner networks across APAC, and oversaw APAC legal on one of the largest corporate separations in tech, covering 200,000 customers and 60,000 partners.
